We listened

We didn’t just make another pair of smart glasses.

Deaf users told us exactly what got in the way: frames that felt too heavy, green captions visible to other people, too few language choices, and the same oversized shape for everyone.

Hearview Lite is our answer—a more private, more inclusive, and much more wearable way to see conversations.

All-day comfort

Light enough for conversations that last.

Starting at approximately 28g, Hearview Lite is around 35% lighter than MYVU Air. Less pressure on the nose and ears means more comfort through meetings, classes, appointments, and long family conversations.

Privacy, redesigned

Captions for you—not everyone around you.

Our upgraded optical design reduces externally visible green light by approximately 90% in normal face-to-face use, helping private conversations feel more private.

A faint green glow may remain visible from an extreme side angle or under certain lighting conditions.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Can other people see the green captions?

Hearview Lite reduces externally visible green light by approximately 90% during normal face-to-face use. A faint glow may still be visible from an extreme side angle or in certain lighting conditions.

Does Hearview Lite display captions in both eyes?

No. Hearview Lite uses a focused right-eye monocular display, helping keep the frame exceptionally lightweight. Users who prefer binocular display can choose MYVU Air.

Does it support Arabic?

Yes. Hearview Lite supports Arabic captioning through the Hearview App, including right-to-left text display.

Can I adjust where and how large the captions appear?

Yes. Choose from six caption positions inside your glasses and three text sizes: 26, 30, or 34. These settings adjust the in-glasses display, not the subtitle position on your phone.

Can I choose which microphone captures speech?

Yes. Hearview Lite has a built-in microphone. In the Hearview App, choose between the glasses microphone and your phone microphone.

Are prescription lenses included?

The compatible prescription lens insert is included. Custom lenses made to your individual prescription are not included; take the insert to your local optician for fitting.

How long does the battery last?

Approximately three hours of active use and up to 72 hours of standby. Actual battery life varies with brightness and usage.
