In American Sign Language (ASL), "today" is shown with a mix of signs. You use "now" and "day" to sign it. For "now," place both hands in a "Y" shape. Move them down in front of your body. For "day," hold your non-dominant arm out. Your dominant hand should be in a "D" shape. Move it from your elbow to your wrist. This mimics the sun's path across the sky. Together, these signs mean "today." ASL is a visual language. It's used by the Deaf community in the U.S. and parts of Canada. Knowing ASL means understanding its special grammar. Facial expressions and body language are key.
