One or both hands, in the “flat O” handshape with palms roughly facing up, move forward in an upward - arc motion. This is the sign for “give” in ASL. You can point the sign in different directions to show who is doing the giving. The sign for "give" comes up a lot when people talk in ASL, and you can mix it with other signs to say things like "give me" or "give you." It's an easy sign to learn because it looks so much like what it means.
