How to Sign "Visit" in American Sign Language (ASL)
In ASL, "visit" is signed by extending both hands with V-handshapes, palms facing each other. The dominant hand moves back and forth between the non-dominant hand. This movement represents going back and forth to see someone or someplace. A single movement means one visit, while doing it multiple times shows many visits. The sign works well for talking about any kind of visit, from seeing family to going to the doctor.
