How to Sign "Change" in American Sign Language (ASL)
ASL has different signs for "change." The most common way to sign "change" involves making "C" shapes with both hands facing each other and moving them in circles around each other. To show money changing, you just tap your stronger hand's thumb on your other hand's fingers. When you want to show something transforming, hold your flat hands facing each other and twist them different ways. Changing clothes is shown by brushing your hands down your chest. ASL uses movements that look like what they mean, which is why there are so many ways to sign "change."
